A half-day conference presenting international guest lecturerers, inspiration and kowledge sharing for professionals working with performing arts or accessibility, free admission, a part of our dance festival DansFunk 4.0: Aesthetic of Access, November 8-14.
Aesthetics of Access is a new way of embracing accessibility within artistic process and performing arts. The aim is to not limit accessibility to a few add on services for disabled persons. Instead accessibility is placed as an integral part of the creative process allowed to artistically influence and express the ideas in th performance as it evolves and into the finished creation. The concept is not limited to increasing access to performing arts for a specified group, but instead creating performance experiences accessible for all audiences and developing the art form.
