Caisa’s open call for autumn 2023 and for the year of 2024, deadline 30th October
The main task of Cultural Centre Caisa is to promote diversity and inclusion in Helsinki through art and culture. Caisa is looking for productions to its programme, that support this task.
In our various activities, we want to reflect the diversity of the people of Helsinki by bringing out, either in themes or factors, e.g. different minorities. We strive to improve physical and mental accessibility and safety. In our activities, we put emphasis on current and opinionated, as well as community-based, collaborative and multilingual contents. We want to offer professional and original art experiences to Helsinki’s audiences.
For autumn 2023 we are looking for:
- Ready productions and proposals in the initiation phase. Performing arts premieres and reruns, exhibitions, series (e.g. concert series, film series), festivals and concerts.
- Participatory courses for children and families (not adults)
For the year of 2024 we are looking for:
- Productions already in preparation and proposals in the initiation phase. Performing arts premieres and visual art exhibitions.
With this call, we are not looking for international visiting productions.
