GAP Info Local in Jyväskylä 15.4. & 16.4.2021, online
Have you been working on an exciting project but you are not entirely sure how to execute it? Or in contrary you have had many great ideas but you are struggling to navigate through the complex grant systems which are ultimately preventing you from sending them in?
The grant writing season is in full swing and even though it is not possible for us to meet in person, we would like to help you to get through the nerve wrecking and painstaking process of applying for funding for your projects. Furthermore, for those who get puzzled by the practicalities of filing taxes, we will be hosting a General taxation info workshop so prepare your burning questions!
GAP INFO LOCAL, organised by Globe Art Point, is targeting Central Finland this time and organising an online event in collaboration with our local partner Multicultural Center Gloria in the city of Jyväskylä on 15th & 16th of April, 2021. The event's activities comprised of a Grant writing workshop for artists and cultural producers in the field of visual arts, performing arts and music, two general taxation workshops as well as some networking activities will be spread over a period of two consecutive days. The event will start with an Informal introduction session during which you will be able to meet our local partner Gloria and get to know more about the local grant openings and opportunities.
The program is targeted at foreign-born arts and culture professionals residing in Central Finland but it is open for ANYBODY who is interested in learning about local funding opportunities, grant writing and taxation. This event funded by Taike is a continuation of a larger project in which G.A.P association visits cities around Finland (Turku, Tampere, Jyväskylä) and in collaboration with the local partners disseminates their expertise to those people who cannot attend their regular events in the capital region.
