Take part in survey about cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue in arts and culture organisations, DL 27.5. at 4pm
We ask you kindly to participate in the survey on cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue in arts and cultural organisations in Finland. Your expertise is invaluable for our research. The survey is targeted to the directors or officials in a similar position of arts and cultural organisations that receive public funding in Finland.
To participate in the survey will take approximately 20 minutes.
We ask you to fill in the survey by Monday 27.5.2019, 4:00 pm.
Your response to the questionnaire helps us to develop policy recommendations aimed at different stakeholders, including decision-makers and employees in the fields of the arts and culture to promote equality and social cohesion in Finland. The results of this research project will be published in Autumn 2019 (more information about the launch of the policy brief will be sent to your organization.)
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. You may also decide not to answer any specific question. If you decide to participate, you may stop participating at any time. In such a case, your responses will not be included in the data.
Any information that is obtained in connection with this study and that can be identified with you will remain confidential and will be disclosed only with your permission. You will remain anonymous and no professional information nor organization name will be included in the publications based on this study.
We need your identifying information (e-mail address, phone number) for possible clarifying questions. Your identifying information will be processed only by the responsible researchers, and such information will be replaced in the data with codes. Data without identifying information may be used by the research collaborators stated above for further research.
All data will be stored securely and accessible only to the members of the research group and the research collaborators.
The researchers may contact you for further questions to clarify your answers. After the study has been completed, all identifying information will be deleted from the data. Data without identifying information will be stored at the Finnish Social Science Data Archive for subsequent research for unlimited period with your permission.
This survey questionnaire is designed as a part of the ArtsEqual research initiative* in collaboration with Cupore** and Culture for All Service***. The aim of this research project is to study the role of the arts and cultural organizations in promoting cultural diversity, inclusion and intercultural dialogue in Finland.
The research group includes MA Sadjad Shokoohi (CERADA, University of the Arts Helsinki) and Director of the Research Centre Dr. Kai Lehikoinen (CERADA, University of the Arts Helsinki).
The project is funded by the Academy of Finland’s Strategic Research Council under Grant no 293199/2015 and the Center for Educational Research and Academic Development in the Arts (CERADA) at the University of the Arts Helsinki.
