In its program, the Cultural Centre Caisa wants to bring forward the diversity inside Helsinki through art and culture. We are especially looking for new, current and stand taking professional productions, without forgetting communal and participatory projects. We are open to all brave and original ideas. Interdisciplinarism and multilingualism are a bonus.
What are we looking for the program of 2020:
1) Ready productions (premieres and reruns)
2) Ideas for future productions
3) Communal and participatory courses for children and families
Application time
29.4.-19.8.2019 – Spring/Autumn season
1.11.-31.12.2019 – Autumn season
Proposals and ideas can be presented also to the program of 2021. It is also possible to send new ideas outside the open call application periods by e-mail.
We will notify those who´ve been selected for Spring 2020 by 31.10.2019 and for Autumn 2020 by 28.2.2020. Caisa will provide the venue/gallery and personnel. Caisa can also buy productions.
Caisa’s own production team will make the final decisions by analyzing all the proposals and comparing them with Caisa’s own values, production resources and Helsinki City’s strategy.
If your proposal is not selected to be a part of Caisa’s program, there is a possibility of renting Caisa´s venues. Here you find Caisa´s renting terms.
