Open call for queer short films: WIFT Shorts - Queer-themed short film screening, deadline 27.4.
WIFT Finland ry is organizing a queer-themed short film screening and panel discussion during Pride Month at Kino Regina, Oodi, Helsinki Central Library, on 17.6.2025.
The event aims to bring together LGBTQIA+ filmmakers. The screening is free and open to everyone. Short films under 20 minutes long are invited, with themes, topics or creators that reflect queerness. The open call is open to all animation, documentary, fiction and experimental films up to 20 minutes long. All professionally produced films and student films are eligible to apply. You do not need to be a WIFT member to apply for the screening.
