Lost in Happyland – documentary for equity and impact work

The documentary tells about an ageing Afro-Finnish woman Oge Eneh who moved to Finland from Nigeria 35 years ago. She ends up in a vacuum after she looses her job as a cultural producer after 18 years.

Oge’s story about ageing and loneliness builds a bridge to the very core of humanity: our need for love, respect and belonging. Oge’s dream has a strange name. It is called Integration. The film is spiced up with Finnish melancholy and black humour.

The film with Finnish and English subtitles was completed in January 2024. Duration 40 minutes.

For example municipalities can use the film for their equity work.
