International Mother Language Day 25th anniversary, 20-21 Feb 2025, UNESCO Paris
Join us at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 20 & 21 February as we mark the Silver Jubilee of International Mother Language Day! This milestone reaffirms the vital role of linguistic diversity and multilingualism in promoting dignity, peace, and mutual understanding.
The event will include, on 20 February, technical dialogues on multilingual education and, on 21 February, a high-level event bringing together global leaders and experts. An exhibition ‘Languages matter!’ will also illustrate the richness of languages across the globe, and a cultural event will close the Silver Jubilee celebration.
