For centuries, art was defined from the perspective of a white male gaze. This gaze has been subjected to critical scrutiny, especially at the Venice 2024 Biennale. What is art that includes the voice of a female artist from Benin? Lecturer: art historian, MA Antti Kauppinen
Wed 26.2. 6-7:30 p.m. Rainbow
Multivocal art raises questions about identity. The self and thus the reality that we view from the perspective of the self are in constant motion. Alongside the fun and humorous gay, it is important to raise the discriminated and hurt. Together, these create a strong statement about the courage of being the self. Lecturer: art historian, MA Antti Kauppinen
