The new board of the Association For Culture on Equal Terms
A new board was chosen at the annual general meeting of Yhdenvertaisen kulttuurin puolesta ry (the Association For Culture on Equal Terms) on 3.5.2023.
Veronica Hertzberg (Föreningen Luckan rf) and vice member Linda Sundberg (Föreningen Luckan rf); Roger Renman (The Finnish Association of Adult Education Centres (KoL)) and vice member Viljami Wiirilinna (The Finnish Association of Adult Education Centres (KoL)), Yvapurü Samaniego Bonnin, Globe Art Point ry and vice member Jaana Simula (Globe Art Point ry) were chosen for a two-year period.
In addition, Rosanna Mantila (Finnish Musicians’ Union) and vice member Sami Vähäkangas (Finnish Musicians’ Union) were chosen for a one-year period.
Chairperson Amu Urhonen and board members Mikko Karvinen, TINFO Theatre Info Finland (vice member Riikka Rajala, Finnish Library Association), Sanni Purhonen, Kulttuuriyhdistys Suomen Eucrea ry (vice member Jasmin Riihiniemi, Kulttuuriyhdistys Suomen Eucrea ry) and Barbro Enckell-Grimm, The Finnish Reading Center will continue in the board, as they were chosen for a two-year period at the annual general meeting 2022.
Iiris Lehtonen from the Association of Finnish Symphony Orchestras was chosen as the vice member of Barbro Enckell-Grim for a one-year period in 2023.
The vice chair of the association will be appointed later.
