What does the audio visual industry do to promote equality and diversity?
Women in Film & Television WIFT Finland ry organizes a low-threshold networking event, in cooperation with R&A Spring Break film festival, where you can discuss in small groups and get to know your colleagues. The representatives from the audiovisual industry will discuss their concrete actions to promote equality and diversity in their work. The event is primarily aimed at people who identify themselves as belonging to various minority groups or are underrepresented in the industry.
After the event, if you wish, you can attend a screening of Beba at R&A Spring Break in Bio Rex. The screening will open with Ima Iduozee’s short film "After We’re Gone".
The event is free of charge, but we charge a no show fee of 50 euros (cancellation 24 h before the start of the event).
