Crush[ing] - Art for queer seniors, first encounter evening on 14th of October, Helsinki

Art workshops, home visits, intergenerational meetups for queer and trans people and Crush[ing] release in April 2024!
The Reality Research Centre's Art for Queer Seniors-project offers dance, music and storytelling workshops and art-based home visits for queer seniors. The project is funded by the City of Helsinki. In addition, every two months, intergenerational meetups are organised at Villa Salin, Lauttasaari. The first encounter evening will take place on Sat 14.10 from 12-14:00. All activities are free of charge and open to all queer and trans people or those thinking about it.
The project will culminate in a performance sketch, Crush[ing], which brings together dancers of different ages from the Queer Dance Group - dance community as well as senior groups. Crush[ing] will be launched in spring 2024.
