Introducing the steering group invited for the Making space for artistry -project!
Introducing the wonderful and inspiring steering group that we have invited for the project Making space for artistry - equity for disabled artists and artists who are Sign Language users!
Steering group is a group of people who follow how the project develops and supports and steers the project. The steering group of the Making space for artistry -project consists of artists of different disciplines and professionals working in the proximity of the arts. The task of the steering group is to act as a thinking companion, to outline directions and to be a critical friend. The steering group started working in the spring 2022. We meet the steering group twice a year.
Making space for artistry -project is disabled-led and artist-led. It means, that the steering group, people employed and other makers of the project include many disabled artists or artists who are Sign Language users.
The members of the steering group are Rosanna Fellman, Riikka Hänninen, Nikolai Klix, Nadja Leham, Aku Meriläinen and Jussi Rinta-Hoiska. Read more about member of the steering group on Making space for artistry project's own homepage.
