"Art has a role in the disability movement. There are many forms of activism. For me, the activism that is done at an office desk and that seeks to influence through cultural organizations and institutions is most familiar. Nevertheless, I see myself as a disability activist because I strive to create spaces for artists with disabilities within the existing structures. But what about artivism, can art be used as a method in disability activism? It definitely can."
